Carla Cackowski is a writer, performer, and improviser currently living in Los Angeles. She studied acting at Columbia College in Chicago. Carla began studying improvisation in Chicago at The Second City and graduated the Los Angeles Conservatory in 2005. She was hired to tour, performing sketch and improv comedy, with The Second City aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines. Travelling to Alaska, Canada, the Caribbean and throughout Europe, Carla performed three tours aboard NCL’s Gem, Spirit and Pearl cruise ships. Carla completed the long form improvisation programs at both iO West and Upright Citizens Brigade and has played on Mainstage Harold Teams at both theaters. Her two-person sketch comedy show, The Printers’ Daughters, was an official selection of the LA Festival of Sketch, Best of UCBLA Sketch Night and the San Fran Sketchfest. The improvised Chekhov show Carla created and directed, The Mighty Stumps, was an official selection of the LA Improv Fest, Phoenix Improv Festival, Chicago Improv Festival, and Del Close Marathon (NYC). Carla has written and performed four solo shows that have toured L.A.'s theater circuit. Carla has been a proud member of SAG-AFTRA since 2002. Her voiceover work can be heard on television shows such as iCarly, Pretty Little Liars, Cougar Town, and the 2012 feature film, Man on a Ledge. She is represented by Reign Agency in Santa Monica.
